Hello,

Would it be possible to add the function "[ ] Receive a copy of this message"?

The visitor can check the box if he wants a copy
or
that option is invisible to the visitor and a copy is automatically sent to him.

Thanks.

Thanks for your answer.

My goal was to send a confirmation email to the visitor that we received his post/form/email and that we are taking care of it.

This can be achieved like this with your Host emails forwarders and auto-responder.

Forwarders:
- Add the first forwarder info@yoursite.com to yoursupport@yoursite.com
- Add the second forwarder info@yoursite.com to info-auto@yoursite.com
which is the one with an auto-responder message.

Auto-responder:
email: info-auto@yoursite.com

Your answer values: from an existing email or a noreply, the subject and the body/message.

WAIT 15+ minutes before testing, the server needs times to update.

If you need a multi-lingual version, just create 2 x both or just a different auto-responder email, info-auto-fr@yoursite.com, with the corresponding auto-reply message.

That's all :-)

I also want this feature but after looking around I found it currently imposible. But I think the form-builder (known as contact_form in IP-1.0) should have some advance `programming` features.
I'm thinking of another optional column named `varname` besides `name`, `type` and `required`; and an optional `after_filter` at the bottom of contact_form editor for advanced admin to add their code using the above varname (something like $form_id_varname).
Btw, I find form-builder is missing in IP-2.0-rc1. Will it appear soon? I miss it so much.

Forms are one of the most complicated elements on websites. We are working on that. Once we have more or less stable codebase for that, we'll definitely include it in the nearest Release Candidate.

I see. So how do you think about my idea above? I think it should be implemented after the core form_builder is done. Also, let me remind you about my other idea of `class` style column

Form widget vision in ImpressPages 2.0 is some widget style editing. So you can add custom elements to form widget. I'm not sure if we will add all your suggestions to default form. But i'm sure we will do extend-ability to add all features you need.
