I am using 2.x impresspages, and i have copied pagan theme, and modified main.php for my needs, now i have working page and menu and so on, and I want in one menu item page add another layout, i have created zones, menu pointed to external link like pagelayout/whatever
and it is working in frontpage, but don`t working in admin page, what I`m doing wrong?

You are doing very well. In administration mode we can't do external redirect, because you could want to modify page and then remove redirect. If we would do redirect in administration, you could not be able to edit the content of page that redirect. So redirect's are turned off in management mode. To edit that page, go to menu management, press right mouse button to that page and choose "edit".
