Hi again,

This a contiuation of the thread from features request;
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=754

as now you have asked for feature requests to be on Github and this really a help request rather than a features request, I thought I would open a new tab.

One thing I learn't from the above thread is that I have a poor knowledge if TinyMCE, I did not know about 'shift+enter' trick posted in the thread.

So first request does anybody have a link to a good guide to using TinyMCE ?

Second question in the IP text widget and text/image widget (as opposed to the rich text widget) can you add links to lines of text or to images ? If so how. this is very important for me.

Third question, if you create some text with the text widget or an image and text with the text/image widget is possible to go back to it and modify the html after saving and publishing. Often when I have used TinyMCE in the past and ended up with problems, (mainly layout problems) the only way I have found to correct the problem is to modify the html by hand using the built in html button in TnyMCE.

Alan

1. I don't know good TinyMCE guide. But I think you already know enough.

2. You can create links (anchors) to the same page. But to do so, you need to add anchor plugin to default tinymce configuration (http://www.impresspages.org/docs2/confi ... 2/tinymce/)

3. If you like, you can add 'html' button to default tinymce configuration. But ImpressPages has specific TinyMCE configuration which is very hard to mess up. I've never had broken layout in ImpressPages. That is the reason why I argue not to use "Rich text" widget. Because it is not protected from such failures. You should always use standard widgets and end up on rich text only in some very specific pages.
