Releasing new ImpressPages CMS 1.0.6 (26 Jul 2010)

ImpressPages CMS is releasing one more improved version of CMS with nice drag & drop interface. Among all other must have features for everyone, in ImpressPages 1.0.6 you will find two more!



ImpressPages saves your time!


  • Smart copy & paste. It erases all HTML and CSS trash (tags, styles, etc.), but leaves exactly what you expect and need: bold, italic, underline, links, lists, paragraphs, line breaks. All styles are automatically transformed to already defined website styles. Adjust as you need.
  • New text formatting possibilities. Support for line break tag (br) is added to all text widgets. Adjust as you need.


Also, this release includes bug fixes:

  • Title/text widget sometimes didn't load wysiwyg editor.
  • Few mistypes.

What's new on ImpressPages 1.0.5? (7 Jul 2010)

We are very happy to inform you about our new release.



ImpressPages CMS 1.0.5 is another big step forward!


Please play and exploit all the possibilities of simple plugin installation, built-in functions, its lightweight and free extensions (themes, plugins, translations)!

New version includes new functionalities, increased usability and bug fixes. Most important updates:


  • Redesigned SEO module. Increased usability and efficiency of its management.
  • Fixed MySQL injection vulnerability (more about it in our forum). It was the only vulnerability issue that security experts have found.
  • Enhanced internal linking. When you move your page or change its url (or even path of the zone), all internal links that are present on any page are changed accordingly.
  • Fully configurable TinyMCE editor for each module and widget independently. Increased freedom and possibilities to implement any required functionality.
  • User module is built in the core now. Use it as a platform for any other plugins; exploit the built-in functionalities of registration, logging in, pasword reminder, profile page.
  • Fixed exposure of undesired warnings. Some warning where showed in installation script with some debugers installed.
  • Double checked and fixed grammar errors.

ImpressPages CMS goes stable! ImpressPages 1.0.4 is released (4 May 2010)

Now it's official. First stable version of ImpressPages CMS is released and it is ImpressPages 1.0.4.


Once again we want to thank everyone who has tested our BETAs and RCs. Now we all have a tool for everyday's web development.


We already have documentation and API to catch up even faster. We are looking forward to hearing from you in our Facebook page and forum. A bunch of free plugins and themes are coming soon!


ImpressPages 1.0.3 beta released (19 Feb 2010)

Many thanks for Sokolowski, Silver, Andertrack, Nicmare, Nick and many others! Thank you for your help and encouragement.


In ImpressPages 1.0.3 beta you can find new interesting features:

  • internal linking (from "Insert/edit link");
  • multiple widget layouts (as many as you need);
  • new localization interface (translate front-end and back-end to any language);
  • plugin installation (now you can develop your own plugins);
  • enhanced security (against CSRF attacks).


We're on Facebook! (1 Dec 2009)

We have two good news (or maybe three). The first one - we're already on Facebook. Check that out - ImpressPages CMS page on Facebook (become a fan and share your experience!). The second (and third) - our community becomes bigger and we are very proud of that. Here's two evidences:

  1. ImpressPages CMS video introduction from Stefan Jocić (post on his blog);
  2. ImpressPages CMS group on Facebook from Erik Anderson (Erik decided to remove it).


PHP 5.3.1 Released! (19 Nov 2009)

Finally. New stable release of PHP 5.3.x branch is announced. Bug fixes, recommendation for upgrading from PHP 5.2 and migration guide could be found in official PHP 5.3.1 Release Announcement.


ImpressPages 1.0.1 beta released (6 Nov 2009)

ImpressPages team officially announce ImpressPages CMS 1.0.1 beta release. Some features were improved. This is one more step towards the stable version.


The main change - file structure was fully redesigned to make it more easy to understand and work with.


PHP 5.3.1RC3 released (3 Nov 2009)

One more release candidate (RC3) for PHP5.3.1 were announced by PHP Development Team. Still waiting for the PHP5.3.1 Stable version.


Nevertheless, after a few days (this week) we are going to release ImpressPages 1.0.1 Beta.


PHP 5.3.1RC2 released (20 Oct 2009)

The PHP development team announced the second release candidate of PHP 5.3.1. So we are one step closer to widely supported PHP 5.3.


We promise a new version of ImpressPages (1.0.1 beta) in near future.
