ImpressPages 1.1 timeline / features
For the first time we are on the straight road to the major release of ImpressPages drag and drop CMS.
Due to changes in our versoning strategy, information below is relevant for upcomming ImpressPages 2.0.
This release is dedicated to improve widgets architecture. This element is now under complete refactoring.
Read below about all the cool features that are waiting for you in this release.

Installable widgets
Drag widgets anywhere
You will be able to define as many content areas as you want on each page. That will enable to drag widgets anywhere you like: sidebars, header, footer, etc.
jQuery by default
Improved MVC
No more HTML files with complex PHP code and no more PHP files with HTML code.
Easy extendability of default view files.
Keep the fun for yourself and all the hardwork for the ImpressPages.
New event system
Event driven extendability. Modify default system behavior, add new features easily without a risk to break the core.
No headache during the core updates.
Page history
Each page will have history of all versions. They will be created automatically. Revert the changes when you need.
Autosave
Never loose your work if internet connection or your computer goes down. When you reopen administration panel you will find everything as you left. Safe and sound.
Multiple file upload and image editing
Upload many images and/or files at once.
Crop and position uploaded images as you like. Thumbnails will be at your fingertips.
