EASY CODE meets EASY ADMIN

We did one thing with this release  we commonsensed the process of website development and content management. No fireworks, I know, but it’s actually pretty awesome.

Up until now it has always been either one: powerful and flexible developer-adored tool on one side (Zend, CakePHP, Symfony); or the admin preferred easy to use version of it on the other (WordPress, Squarespace).

ImpressPages really comes in the middle offering full flexibility and power for the developer, plus a user-friendly productivity boosting tool for content manager.

This means we virtually took out the hassle of having a website:

- out of having to build it: clean code is on the table (mvc engine) with tons of pre-built features and the freedom to create your own (plugin and theme market). We leave you the fun complexity of programming, but provide the handy tools to struggle less.

- out of having to use it: inline editing with drag&drop makes it a no-step process as you can change content by simply walking through your pages. Even juggling ten websites becomes a child’s game. Start out small and go up the ladder as you improve  all tools are here.

It’s no edge cutting, groundbreaking, life changing stuff. But it’s commonsense. And if one day you decide to have a personal website  ImpressPages is there for you. Try this demo to feel it.
